WINEMAKER’S NOTES

From a stellar, warm vintage in the Willamette Valley, our second release of Toil Oregon Pinot Noir combines 3 clones of Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir: Pommard, Wadensvil, and 115. The wine has an explosive nose of pomegranate, ripe red cherry, bramble fruit and mixed flowers. Beautifully dark for Pinot Noir, on the palate it expresses a true essence of Pinot with loads of pure but restrained fruit and silky soft tannins. Earthiness derived from the Wadensvil and some whole cluster fermentation is delicately wrapped around a beautiful core of refreshing acidity that brings wonderful focus. | PRINT |
