WINEMAKER’S NOTES

What a wonderful series of growing years the Willamette Valley has offered for the first few vintages of Toil Oregon! It’s hard to believe we are already releasing our fifth vintage of Pinot Noir. This wine boasts a beautiful — unmistakably “Oregon” — nose of black cherry, pain grillé, black tea, and earth. On the palate, the tannins are silky and fine. The finish is long, luscious, and deep with a core of ripe fruit and fresh acidity. I feel we are truly defining our house style with this stunning effort! | PRINT |
